Rebecca Starr Mumba

Rebecca Starr Mumba was born in Los Angeles, California. She started training as a competitive gymnast at the age of 3. After 10 years in the competitive circuit she turned to performing as an artistic outlet and fell in love with circus. With natural flexibility and technical training she excelled in contortion, aerial arts and acrobatics. She began performing professionally soon after. In 2004 with fellow performer, Molly Murcia, Rebecca created Lyralicious… a dynamic partnership of strength and flexibility specializing in duo aerial hoop, contortion and body balancing. Rebecca has performed internationally in Japan, the Middle East and Portugal as well as throughout the United States and Mexico with touring shows, theater productions and corporate events.

Molly Murcia

Molly Murcia was born in a beach town outside San Diego, California. She started training circus arts at a very young age under the instruction of 6th generation Italian circus performer Pietro Canestrelli and 7 time world champion baton twirler Annetta Lucero. At the tender age of eight Molly first entertained an audience; by 13 she was performing solo acts 30 feet in the air. In 2004 Molly and longtime fellow performer, Rebecca Starr created Lyralicious… a duo aerial hoop act combining grace, flexibility and elegance with speed, dynamics and feminine charm. Molly has performed internationally in Japan, the Middle East and Portugal as well as throughout the United States and Mexico with touring shows, theater productions and corporate events.
